But when tax time comes around and you are $2000 to $4000 in the hole, I think that could be a major eye-opener. I'm amazed at the posts I've read about people having to pay the IRS for the first time in years, even though their income has not really varied. I'm just imagining that sickening feeling when you do your taxes with the anticipation of a hefty tax refund and finding out you owe money. Not even a stupid wall is worth that!
