Green New Deal and calcified thinking

I would LOVE to have some major news organization that demonstrated the ability to think in real time or close to real time. The left is always criticizing the right because they don't believe the scientists about global climate change. The funny thing, well, not really so funny as tragic, is that the main media organizations seem to be just about the same. The SCIENCE says we have to cut carbon dioxide emissions in HALF by 2030. It's almost 2020. All I ever hear from MSM is that the right wing is brain dead, but then they ridicule those who are demanding something dramatic needs to be done. AOC and I think Warren as well and many others are touting a Green New Deal. It is a PLAN to do what SCIENTISTS say we MUST do. And all I hear is ridicule and some kind of intellectual snobbery about it.

Well, tell me YOUR plan all you in the main stream media. I see, you don't have one, just like the Republicans. Let's see, not acting on what the science says and have no plan. . . so which party is it that is brain dead?

The talking heads are following talking points enforced by Repuke producers, but they knock stuff way too casually, with their own familiarity (or ignorance) of the subject.

I don't think these people are being constrained at all, I think they are speaking their own, fucked up minds.

And steering millions towards apathy in the process.

The media is capable of generating enormous harm in this manner.

A disturbing sub-function I've mulled over, is Trump and his "media is the enemy of the People" crap. Thing is, there are many instances where they can be argued to not hold the greater majority interests, but in this quirky reverse psychological mind fuck, Trump beats his blather, and we all rush to the defense of a decidedly un-liberal media, and thus cement it's occupancy as a toxic source among us.
