I can't believe the number of people being inflicted by this illness. So many people out sick. Or wandering around all clogged up,.. they seem like zombies,... coughing,.. can't breath, and drowning in their own mucus.

Whatever it is it is insidious.

We haven't caught anything this year so far, but if we do we'll use menthol crystals.
That will spare us the hoarse part.
We've worked real hard at being fit this year.

Thought I got lucky, only missed a 1/2 day of work, a weekend in bed and I was feeling better...
Then i got a second round 3 weeks ago. Crawled into bed at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, and pretty much stayed there through Sunday. Really only started feeling "well" last Wednesday or so. And everyone in my office has had it, and missed at least 2 days of work from it.

I have COPD so I am susceptible to respiratory infections.

Late December I too got initially hit. A cold,..into bronchitis,.. then pneumonia. In bed for three weeks to weak to even put my feet on the floor.

Shook it off then on the mend for about two weeks. Then bam,.. green mucus again,.. literally drowning on my own mucus. Bad case of bronchitis that rapidly progressed into pneumonia. This time I went the doctor route. Had the chest Xray, was put on Prednisone, and a strong antibiotic, and access to Albuterol inhalers so I could get my breath if I did anything even slightly strenuous. Two weeks later I am 80% out of the woods and back to normal.

Do not wish that episode on anyone else except maybe my worse enemy.

Every body else I run into has it,.. initially I felt guilty thinking I was the vector spreading this illness around to and fro and everywhere.

But it is too far and wide for it to be me that started this. I never met Chris Hayes,.. I only watch him on the inter net tubes nightly. But I don't think pneumonia can be passed over a wifi system,.. but I am not a tech geek.
