I do not remember who my "Miss" was but my mother cousin was a Miss Barbara in Florida, probably Orlando.

I too think a lot of my thinking came from those early shows, not from my parents but those shows. Captain Kangaroo was another.

RIP Miss June. You helped a lot of confused and scared children develop into good citizens.
