Rest In Peace, lady. Youre probably the one to blame for my rose colored view of the world, built at age 4 or 5. I barely remember the name but I know I loved you, once upon my precious time. Im sure that your lessons are ingrained so deep they became invisible like the air I breathe.

(34,105 posts)I do not remember who my "Miss" was but my mother cousin was a Miss Barbara in Florida, probably Orlando.
I too think a lot of my thinking came from those early shows, not from my parents but those shows. Captain Kangaroo was another.
RIP Miss June. You helped a lot of confused and scared children develop into good citizens.
