The GOP is embracing fascism because, after 2000 years...

... the white, male, christian power structure has fallen to 30% of the population. And globalism, feminism, secularism and minority empowerment are rising.

The only forseeable way for the GOP base to not live in the role of weak power minority is to seize power from the minory role.

That's why the Christians love Trump... because he's willing to throw away democracy and promise an authoritarian future to the GOP base.

"F*ck Those Libtards" isn't the belief of some internet troll. It's the last gasp of the followers of an aspiring dictator as a 2000 year reign of power hangs in the balance.

Just for perspective, the Christian power structure goes back about 1700 years. The white male power structures go back to the beginning of documented civilization. That's more than 7000 years give or take a few small exceptions. Male domination is deeply ingrained. It's definitely time for a change.
