Let's assume we have a "national emergency" on our hands...

Why is one of the things in response to this emergency is a Senator coming out and saying "We can't have a new school in Kentucky... 'cuz The Wall is a much more vital thing"?

Where are the billionaires cutting back? Scrubbing their own toilets? Giving up lettuce and other migrant-picked vegetables?

Is it just poor kids in Kentucky who will have to cut back?
