is probably in danger because of Roger Stone and the continual corrupt tactics he uses for the GOP.

(14,530 posts)but Our little corner of the intertubes not posting a pic of he won't make a difference for the reason you stated.
I would not be surprised if fox newz found a reason to air her picture at least 10 times a day now. They'll start off with her photo and mention the crosshairs for the rest of the week. then anytime they talk about the court case they will put a pic of her on the screen. Hannity will scream she's an Obama appointee and so on.
Stone really wants her off his case. He is trying to judge shop.

(22,025 posts)I completely agree with you, brooklynite.
Hiding in the shadows is un-American. As the cliche states, "Sunlight is the best disinfectant."
If Stone's stunt created a credible danger for Judge Jackson, I'm certain she'll be provided with personal security. From the rulings I've read, she's a no-nonsense judge and won't be intimidated by Stone.
Which makes me wonder if she'll take any actions against Stone for his obvious attempt at messing with the judicial system. Stone has been in politics for decades and in spite of his naked and perverted partisanship, he's a professional who knew exactly what he was doing when he posted the judge's picture with the crosshairs above her head. For him to plead ignorance is a bald-faced lie that he better not try in court.
It will be interesting to see if she has any comment or inquiry about the incident.

(102,200 posts)and Stone should be made an example as a result of his actions. Of course, she should be provided security if the assessment is made that that is required.
That said, I would never duplicate nor share the kind of horrendously threatening photo submitted by Stone.
