Court sessions are scheduled, often well in advance. They'll have to "make time" for this as it is.
(Which, by the by, is a really good way to piss off a judge in the first place).

I really think he's going to jail. Probably about 3 months. Just have to wait for the eventual trial. Question is, will Trump commute his sentence.

But my experience with the court is that they tend not to rush anything through. The lone exceptions are initial hearings which pretty much go on continuously around here (well into the night anyway). Mostly so they can clear the jails of people who aren't going to be held after bail.

More likely version of which you allude is that the POC person wouldn't be out on bail to begin with.

That's what I have seen expressed -- that he wants her to react in a way that forces her to step aside.

Or.........he's performing for an audience of one who likely is loving his theater.

You don't win legal points by attacking a judge then saying she's biased because you attacked her.

Campaign blitz by Stone's Legal team. This is what this stunt by Stone was all about, change of Venue and thus a different Judge.

After today's special Minute Order, does that mean Old Roger Boy can be arrested on site if he does another stunt?

Stone's legal team seems to have been pretty freaked out by the Instagram posting. They filed a NOTICE OF APOLOGY for the posting which is something lawyers never do. Professionals have said over and over since yesterday that this notice is unprecedented. They knew their client had crossed the line and that put them in dangerous territory with the Court.

Judge Jackson is pretty pissed and that's why she ordered Thursday's hearing. Given how she treated Manafort for his nonsense in her court, I wouldn't bet on Stone's chances of maintaining the status quo. Hell, I could see her jailing him because she specifically told him that his media manipulations would hurt him in her court. That's what she did to Manafort, albeit for different reasons.

We'll find out on Thursday.

NYT Story about Cohen Judge Attempt change by Trump via Whitaker, now this Stone Stunt. Roger Stones History is replead with this kind of crap. Only this time it blew up in his face as well as Trump's face.

Nothing happens in a Vacuum when it comes to dirty Politics.

Sure hope Roger Boy shows up at his hearing with what is called a Jump Bag.

She's had no problem speaking her mind in both the Manafort and the Stone cases. She certainly ripped Manfort a new one. I look forward to hearing her thoughts about Stone's stunt on Thursday. It's a very good bet that she's pissed.
