1. They don't have a case. The Washington Post did nothing wrong. They reported the news as it came

out. Even the school said they were guilty, then did an investigation, and said they weren't, which the WP also reported.

As for those who like to use Bezo as their poster child, he has a hands off approach to the WP. He does NOT interfere with their operation, and in fact saved the paper from financial issues they were having.

4. It is the smug look of a kid being kid like. Smug yes. He doesn't look comfortable

doing it. But he is in front of his friends. Of course a religious school is going to be anti everyone on the left. And by osmosis the kid is. But it is the adults who teach the contempt that are responsible. This is too much attention on a child. As stupid as he is being smug, he is in highschool. Not always a place known for smart behaviour all the time. Or a stage in life where kids perceive situations accurately. One thing for sure my public high school didn't take us to demonstrations and we were in Ottawa. We had to do that on our own. Some were more activists than others. The thinking was we would make up our own minds I think........ Oh I see. Again. The adults who put the kids up to it bare some responsibility. I hope the Washington Post points that out.

his elders. We say "it's the parents fault." Well, yes. Because clearly, they never gave the kid a consequence for his bigoted, entitled behavior.

This negative attention is a consequence. I have no problem with him getting it for this act. He's not going to learn at home or school, so the only other way for him to get a clue is by his receiving public disgust for his behavior.

after all, not everyone has a PR firm dedicated to making them look less like a nasty little wanker.

His parents have failed in their job. I say this as a parent of teenage boys, both of whom saw this video separately on their own and asked me why he thought he could behave that way and not have his mom really disappointed in him.

It hurt to explain to them that his mom likes what he did and probably cheered it on. Now, she and daddy are looking for a big payday.
