Bernie Sanders Shatters Donation Records with $3.3 Million in 10 Hours

https://heavy.com/news/2019/02/bernie-sanders-donations-3-million/

Bernie Sanders campaign has shattered donation records in less than 24 hours. His campaign spokesman has announced that they raised more than $3.3 million from more than 120,000 individual donors, less than 24 hours after he announced that he was running for President of the United States.
...
This is more than double what Kamala Harris raised in her first 24 hours after declaring her campaign for the Presidency.
This is also greater than any other candidate who has announced their campaign for 2020 yet. Amy Klobuchar raised $1 million in her first 48 hours and Elizabeth Warren raised $300,000 in her first 24 hours.

I fear a divided electorate in the general could elect Trump. I would of course vote for any candidate including Sen. Sanders in a general.

It shows he still has a very loyal committed following although I suspect many of these donors are GOP operatives trying to mess with our primary. Bernie causing turmoil like 2016 is their best hope of retaining the WH in 2020.

Bernie is the front runner for the Democratic Nomination and according to polls he'd throttle Trump in the GE, Bernie is the last person Trump wants to see win.

They will attack Sanders, Harris, and O'Rourke, and already have been attacking Warren. That's the 4 they fear the most.

They'll attack everyone and I don't make my decisions based on what the republicans will do. I wont vote for anyone who doesn't release at least 5 years of taxes. Bernie's behavior in 2016 turned me off him in a huge way.
