Pete Buttigieg has been listening to The Resistance!

Lis Smith @Lis_Smith

.@PeteButtigieg on court packing: “It’s no more a departure from norms than what the Republicans did to get the judiciary to the place it is today….Bold, ambitious ideas need a hearing right now."

.@PeteButtigieg: “Getting rid of the filibuster needs to be on the table. Because we play by the rules, and they don’t.” #IAPolitics #IACaucus

At Philly book event, @PeteButtigieg says need to start “questioning [the electoral college] that twice in my lifetime has overruled the American people. Asking whether it makes sense to go on w/DC & Puerto Rico denied full political representation…."

Smith is the Communications Adviser to Buttigieg and was tweeting comments he made at a public event last night in Philadelphia.

It’s wonderful to have so many great candidates on our side. I am fully comfortable with Pete as President, Vice President or in the Cabinet.

I wholeheartedly agree with your last sentence. And, if not any of those, I'd love to see him run for the Governor of Indiana, or for a Senate seat there. Perhaps he could help drag them into the 21st Century.
