"White".

If it had been a Muslim male, or one of the always scary brown people in "the caravan", the response would have been much different.

The story du jour is about Smollett and how all reports of hate crimes are unreliable. It's going to take a whole lot of indoctrinating to make sure the Foxbots can reliably squawk "What about Smollett?" whenever another bigot loses his shit.

I can hear the TV out of the corner of my ear but I can't take sitting there listening to this crap anymore.

There was a point in Bridgegate where I knew nothing was going to happen to chris christie. It just became too ridiculous - the laughable denials, the weak investigation by the legislature that was stopped (and never restarted) so that one crooked U.S. Attorney, Paul Fishman, could complete his un-investigation of another crooked former U.S. attorney, chris christie, wherein no charges were ever filed against christie and we never even learned the name of the un-indicted co-conspirator or the name of the person who sued to keep it all private because it would negatively affect his political career.

Hint: Both of them were chris christie.

This is all starting to feel the same to me. If all these charges are true and Mueller has all the evidence then why hasn't something, anything been done by now?

It's another set-up, that's why. They need the time to validate their investigation. Like the Warren Commission. LOL Then it's parsed out to make the whitewash look believable. A couple of low-level clowns get a few months in jail and it's all chalked up to inexperience or rogue actors or fake news.

Republicans have cheated to win every election since Eisenhower. Candidate nixon criminally scuttled the Paris Peace Talks during the Vietnam war, then we had Watergate. Then candidate reagan criminally scuttled the Iran Hostage negotiations, then we had Iran-Contra. Then george w bush literally stole the 2000 election (as well as 2004, IMO). Then we had the Great Bush Depression.

Each time, nixon, reagan, bush - we thought it would be the end of the gop. lol

Just like everyone thought trump would be the end of the gop if he became their presidential candidate. lol

I'm becoming very worried about the way things are shaping up for 2020.

No one ever thought richard nixon could ever be elected president. Then he was elected - TWICE.

No one ever thought ronald reagan could ever be elected president. Then he was elected - TWICE.

No one ever thought george w. bush could ever be elected president. Then he was elected - TWICE.

No one ever thought donald j trump could ever be elected president. Then he was elected -

Not for myself. I have a lot fewer years in front of me than I have behind me.

I'm scared for my kids, my grandkids, democracy, freedom, the human race.

Let's hope we can stop them this time. It's probably our last chance.
