WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Department of Agriculture has paid out $7.7 billion so far to farmers, William Northey, Undersecretary for Farm Production and Conservation, said on Friday, in aid designed to offset the negative impact of tariff imposition.
The administration of President Donald Trump has pledged up to $12 billion in aid to help offset losses for crops hit by retaliatory Chinese tariffs imposed in response to Washingtons tariffs on Chinese goods.

It is such a vile lie when republicans call themselves "conservatives." This is a total ripoff of taxpayers so KGOP republicans can bribe hurting farmers to keep on voting against their own interests by supported the compromised & criminal KGOP republican, Inc. juggernaut to HELL.

(82,849 posts)Someone has their information badly - and I mean badly - wrong. Who's paying those tariffs if it isn't our foreign trading partners? Why does the Department of Agriculture have to offset the negative impact of tariffs if foreign countries are paying those tariffs, like Trump said they are?
Oh well, I guess we'll never ever know the truth.
