I lost Nelson just before Christmas. Arthritis and big lipomas (benign fatty tumors) were really making it hard for him to walk. Miss him so much.... Rosie will be 15 in a few weeks and is really starting to show her age, lucky she is thin and fit. I think she has a bit of dementia too.
Our part of the state missed the worst of the heatwave. Being on the Bass Strait coast, there's a lot of relief from the sea breezes. It was pretty rugged in other places, heat records being broken. I'd have hated to be in the city.
And your situation in the US - I really believe they will all be bundled out or locked up - eventually. Nothing is static and too many good and dedicated people are working to see the back of this cabal. I don't think Trump will go quietly; he never has in the past but I believe he has met his match in Bob Mueller.
