"So, how's the diet going?" Linda asked Bill, her co-worker.
"OK, I guess. I'm down to four."
"You mean you've lost four pounds?"
"No. I'm down to four seconds."
Thoroughly confused, Linda asked "What in the world are you talking about: 'down to four seconds'?
"When I get out of the shower, I dry off, close the lid on the toilet, carefully step up onto the seat and the jump off, landing flat on my feet in front of the mirror. Four is how many seconds it takes for everything to stop moving."
