Either that or Scotland and Northern Ireland, neither of which voted for Brexit, should secede from Great Britian.
Of course, I don't live in any part of GB, so perhaps I misunderstand what is actually going on.

You have the pro-brexit folks that want a better deal.
You have the pro-brexit folks that don't care about a deal.
You have the anti-brexit folks that don't want a deal.
You have the anti-brexit folks that want a better deal.
You have the anti-brexit folks that want a new vote.
You have the politicians that didn't support it doing all the negotiating.
You have the politicians that did support it saying that the negotiations should be easy.
You have the people that originally pushed this all suddenly not saying much at all.
Other than that, it's clear as mud.

(25,750 posts)What I do recall quite well is that when the voters realized they really had voted for Brexit, a lot of them wanted a do-over. They basically said, "The only reason we voted for Brexit was that we thought it wouldn't pass." Dumb.

Vote Leave broke electoral law.
According to the UK Supreme Court, if it had been a legally binding referendum, the result would be invalid. Because it was only advisory, the result stands.

(21,786 posts)not to mention the efforts of paid Russian trolls. A majority in recent polls now back "remain"; it's surely sensible for there to be a vote on the terms of departure if it's to happen.

It's as if a family has 6 kids..and the 6 kids vote to burn the garage down, and Mom & Dad just go along because the majority has voted...or discuss endlessly as they light torches..
C'mon UK..get a grip. It's a dumb idea... just say no!!
