This incident took place after the Republican convention when Trump was already the chosen Republican nominee. This is an incident of sexual harassment by Trump. (And for anyone who wants to compare this to the Clinton/Lewinsky incident, that was a consensual encounter.) This incident was not consensual. It was, for lack of a better term, an unwanted "attack." Alva Johnson, the woman lodging the complaint, has initiated a law suit against Trump.

This would be the first harassment related law suit since he became the Republican nominee.

Wouldn't it be ironic if he was brought down by harassment, as opposed to money laundering, collusion/conspiracy with the Russians, or any number of other crimes that Mueller will be telling us about in the not too distant future?

I'm not holding my breath for this to get him removed from the presidency. But wouldn't it be delicious? It would be perfect justice.

Alva Johnson, who worked for the Trump campaign in Florida, says that Trump grabbed her hand and kissed her on the lips outside a rally in Tampa in August 2016, Beth Reinhard and Alice Crites report at the Washington Post.

“I immediately felt violated because I wasn’t expecting it or wanting it,” Johnson told the Post. “I can still see his lips coming straight for my face.”

Her allegation is consistent with a pattern that Trump himself has described.

On the 2005 Access Hollywood tape, Trump can be heard saying, “I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them.”

“It’s like a magnet,” he adds. “Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”

After the tape was released by the Washington Post in October 2016, many women came forward to say that Trump had kissed or touched them without their consent, or committed other sexual misconduct. But the conduct they described all took place before Trump began his run for president. Johnson is the first woman to come forward since Trump took office, and the first to accuse him of misconduct during the campaign, according to the Post.
