Are you kidding me, Vlad? Um, many of us grew up on shit like this. We took it in with our morning Cheerios. With dinner we had a name for it... the evening news, so you're not scaring anyone. That said, I'll see your targets and raise you this....
and in the coming days...this. The Ohio class replacement. The Columbia class.
And a whole new class of these....
....to scratch your...um...what did you call them? Typhoons and Boreis? You are actually going to deploy them beyond brown water this time, right? Right?
We've been down this road before. The gas station masquerading as a country lost badly. You'd think they'd learn or is this just the usual hollow Russian threats? Sorry...my old cold warrior has been rather active since 2017.

(443 posts)not giving the men who lead china and russia any credit, just a statement of fact.
They know what THEY are doing.
No one is at the helm of the ship of state here in the USA.

Shitler is a deepest penetration a foreign advisary has ever achieved into our government, but he's there to cause political discord and division as anything seriously covert. In that grand scheme, Aldrich Ames and Robert Hanson were probably more damaging.

(17,911 posts)Growing up, there was never a question we lived in a primary target. That's my point. It doesn't have nearly as much intimidation factor if it's just part of every day life. Vlad has missiles. So do we. If he want's to get all bellicose, go right ahead. MADD is still in force.

Even if they launched nukes with no US nukes flying back at them (impossible), the radioactive ash clouds would turn Russia into a giant popsicle. The concept of using nuclear weapons at all is kind of stupid, honestly.
