President Trump’s former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen has been disbarred.

The decision, which follows his felony conviction for lying under oath, was announced in documents released Tuesday by Manhattan’s Appellate Division, First Department and the Attorney Grievance Committee.

Cohen could not be immediately reached for comment.

Sure many other attorneys that are R's have contacts in the bar association. Many of the Rs in congress are attorneys that probably have contacts in the New York bar association.

BTW, although he's disbarred from New York State, it would be nearly impossible for him to receive reciprocity from another state to practice law.

I know. Not me. My former boss was an attorney who disbarred in Florida, didn't cite it when she applied to practice in New Jersey and was suspended, pending disbarment in the latter state for lying on her application.
