This is where my feelings about Donald Trump

being installed in the White House start to get tinged with a tiny bit of schadenfreude and a very mild feeling of maybe, just maybe, some very small good might come of this completely disastrous mess. Maybe, just maybe, some of these assholes will finally be held somewhat accountable.

I'm too cynical to really believe any of them will do jail time but if it at least costs them a lot of money and stresses them out I would not feel bad about it at all.

The midterms gave me a bit of that feeling, as well, and if the pendulum swing that Reagan started changing back the other way it would also feel like a little patch of silver lining to this horrible, horrible cloud but both of those things have a long lag and there needs to be a lot of recovery. Criminal charges against a bunch of long term, high level crooks could be more immediate!
