Watson Center Poll: Democrats could be in danger if an independent candidate gets in the ring

Wason Center poll: A generic independent presidential candidate in 2020 siphons *five times as many* votes from Democrats as from Trump (16% versus 3%).

The scenarios, with and without:

Democrat 48%, Trump 37%

Trump 34%, Democrat 32%, Independent 16%
