This one Cohen comment sums up the entire gop since 1/20/17:

Michael Cohen to Jim Jordan: "I just find it interesting, sir, that between yourself and your colleagues, that not one question so far since I'm here, has been asked about President Trump. That's actually why I thought I was coming today."

and I will say it again, "The founders planned for a compromised executive, but they never foresaw a complicit Congress."

They all need to go down in flames. This Republic will never heal unless and until the abscess is completely drained.

Anyone who had any inkling of protesting any action of Trump was weeded out. What is left is the bootlickers.

What a travesty of justice on the part of the republicans. What is it going to take before integrity and decency is restored in the chambers of Congress again?

Does the whole thing have to blow up in their faces in order for the truth of their deceit and treachery becomes obvious to all? I think that is the only thing that will make them come around. I don't think any of them have enough personal honor to come clean without the help of an external force.

Sure, they can lay low for a few years, resting on their filthy laurels. Writing "learned" op-eds about this and that.

Some of them may tell the world that they have converted - have become good democrats (or, gasp - liberals). When the call comes they will shed their sheep's clothing, once again and work to destroy democracy.

Global warming, economic instability, a fraying social safety net, the threat of world war? Who knows. There are a lot of x-factors that could change people's minds in the not so distant future.

Michael Cohen earned some respect today and is trying to redeem himself. I commend him for that. As Mueller and SDNY continue, others may see the light, cooperate and benefit from lighter sentences. If they don't, "Lock 'em up" for the max. His concern about a peaceful transition after the next election and concerns for his family with 40 million Drumph followers, are sadly, legitimate concerns.

Since they couldn’t prevent Cohen from testifying by intimidation and straight out threats, each GOP member’s sole agenda in their self-made kangaroo court was covering up for Trump’s unlawful actions by attacking Cohen personally.

They never acknowledged the corroborating evidence he brought.

They had zero interest in finding out facts.

They mirror their Trump supporting electorate, degenerate racist fake Christian Trump supporters who only apply the rule of law to opponents.
