Never played hooky. 🙄 Spoke to GCs office, Chief of Staff & WH Comms Tuesday evening to advise of invitation & seek protocol. I was also 100% unpaid on Wednesday & am reimbursing for partial travel, per my own insistence. My participation was on personal time & capacity. 🤷🏽♀️

(15,536 posts)You've already embarrassed and debased yourself by taking part in that little stunt, so maybe you'd better quit with the rather silly justifications you've just tweeted. No one believes you.

(18,837 posts)It's not the idea that she took "personal time off" to do this.
It's the idea that when something important is going on at work, you don't TAKE a personal day off unless it's an unavoidable emergency.
C'est la vie...she just defined a large part of her legacy. She owns it.

(40,209 posts)They knew Cohen was going to call Trump a racist. So the republicans decided to find a black person who worked in one of the agencies to come as a prop. I don't understand why Ms. Patton can't see it for what it is.
