Is Mitch McConnell in danger of losing?

A new survey shows Mitch McConnell polling within the margin of error:

Mitch McConnell: 45%
Democratic opponent: 42%

And there's more -- just 33 percent of registered Kentucky voters approve of McConnell's job performance.

This is an email I got from the DSCC

And if it looks too close they order state police to seize machines and ballots in blue counties.

I live here. There's never been a whiff of any shenanigans with the voting machines here. In my county, we have paper ballots too.

they voted for.

Maybe they are changing their minds.

Oh and patriotism, maybe they want some of that now too.

45% will vote for him. 33% approve of him. What is wrong with that 12%? Those are the people who would continue to vote for someone who is slowly killing them just so they can "own the libs". That's republican martyrdom for you.

I live in Montana now but consider West Virginia home.

Limbaugh, Fox News, etc. has rotted out their gullible minds.

88% white, 43% self-identified conservatives to only 18% liberals, and females do not turn out in similar percentage in Kentucky as elsewhere. Normally women are 53-54% of the vote in presidential years but in Kentucky it is closer to 51%. Heck, even the young voters in Kentucky are more red than elsewhere. The 18-29 bracket favored Trump over Hillary 59-34.

There are lots of silly polls out there that do not account for the fundamentals. This would be one of those 96-4 markets on Predictit. 538 has the partisan lean on this race at R +23.3

She would be a great candidate and even though she lost her house race, she now has great name recognition which is a huge plus.
She needs to hit the ground now!

She ran the most non-aggressive, passive race I've ever seen in my lifetime. She can't run fuzzy ads and expect to beat Mitch. The only Dem that could beat him is someone outside of the box that can't be attacked so easily. UK basketball coach John Calipari would be the type of person that could beat him.
