Momo Is Not Trying to Kill Children

Like eating Tide Pods and snorting condoms, the Momo challenge is a viral hoax.

And isn't this how the Tide pod thing started? "Only" three or four kids died from that.

Anyway, it's still not nice to throw spells and curses at impressionable 8 year olds.

11. The 3rd sentence of the opening paragraph of the wikipedia article reads:
Thu Feb 28, 2019, 10:56 PM
Feb 2019

"Despite claims that the phenomenon had reached worldwide proportions in July 2018, the number of actual complaints was relatively small and no police force has confirmed that anyone was harmed as a direct result of the phenomenon." and there's 4 citations.

Now, maybe that is out of date, but I would ask to see the evidence for any such claim.

Children’s charities suggested the warnings about the supposed threat posed by the Momo challenge, which is represented by an image of a Japanese puppet with bulging eyes, were “fake news” spread by adults. They said the warnings could become a self-fulfilling prophesy by encouraging children to seek out harmful material.

Missouri's version of Bigfoot is called MoMo and he supposedly hangs out in the woods by Truman Dam. A friend claims he met him and fed him pancakes while camping. My friend does lots of acid.
