The GOP is spending a lot of time, money and verbiage in an attempt to frame the "impeachment"

issue as "Was an actual prosecutable CRIME committed by Trump?" Yet, somehow, Richard Nixon was impeached and Republican senators were ready to convict him based on Articles of Impeachment that included not one allegation of an actual crime.

I know this will shock many of you, but it seems like they're trying to write a whole new set of rules, just for Donny.

I just see so many who post with comments which imply that simply impeaching the POTUS equals removal from office when they are two separate actions... either due to not knowing this point or by over-excitement about the possibility of getting rid of a traitor in our WH.

and Repub Senators went to him and said that there was support in the Senate to convict.

No, he wasn't formally "impeached" but he would have been within a month or two of his resignation. They had the goods on him.

The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.

Lots to choose from, just in the public record. Dirty Donald is a treasonous mofo who needs to be behind bars before he nukes the world.
