Trump: Mothers give daughters birth control pills cuz they know they will be raped on border

"Mothers who love their daughters give them massive amount
of birth control pills, bc they know their daughters are going to
be raped on the way up to our southern border. Think of that.
True story told to me by the BP. Think of how evil that is."

1. Are Amnesty International and United Nations University also insane?

In addition to the risks of extortion, kidnapping, and violence that migrants face, migrant women are also vulnerable to sexual and gender-based violence, including rape and sexual assault. Women experience sexual violence and forced disappearances often near the border. According to Amnesty International, 60% of migrant women and girls are raped while migrating, while other data indicate that 80% of women experience rape and sexual assault during the migration process.

Given the frequency of sexual and gender-based violence, many migrant women take contraceptives before migrating to avoid the risk of pregnancy from rape by armed criminal groups, locals, or their smugglers.

Health professionals report that as many as six in ten migrant women and girls are raped on the journey.

While the details aren't a precise match (women taking contraceptives v. women giving their daughters contraceptives; 6-8 in 10 women raped on the journey v. 1 in 3), the substance matches and we should not dismiss atrocity of this experience merely because it is brought to our attention by Trump

Even if it has a basis in fact, it doesn't prove his point that we shouldn't allow sanctuary for these women, does it? Rather, it kinda proves the opposite ... I.E. the fact they expose themselves to this kind of danger (and I'm SURE they're well aware of it, hence the pills) on the journey rather illustrates how bad the situation must be ... where they came from.

8. And we should allow them to apply for asylum at the US embassy in their home country.

There is no reason why they should be forced to make the harrowing journey to the border to apply for asylum. There is no reason why US embassies can't accept asylum applications.

I'm told by the Border Patrol that these girls typically have between 4 and 7 abortions while making the journey, usually in the 9th month. They have to call the Fire Department, because they have these things called 'The Jaws of Life'. 'Jaws of LIFE?!?' Can you believe it!?!

And I'm told that's usually when the United Nations sends in the MS-13 Sisterhood of Lesbian Muslims to recruit these vulnerable girls into their group and teaches them to blame America ..."

3. Was there a point to what he said?

Is he arguing for the US to help these poor women once they make it here? Or what? Women who have endured such hostile treatment while trying to escape what I would imagine is an even more dangerous situation need to be cared for.

Whatever his point, he apparently doesn't know much about birth control pills or how they work.

7. No mother who loves her daughter will overdose her with "massive amounts" of any RX pill.

What is scary is there are CPAC idiots who cheered this insane crap.

But it is loving to offer birth control to women who need it, yet Trump wants to defund Planned Parenthood.

Which he likes to use. Reporters should ask him does that include mothers of daughters who were used on Epstein's Lolitia express flights too ? Then ask did he ask Acosta to let Epstein go to, like he did with Flynn? He's trying to change or weaken the bad news about him coming out now with this. He's looking at a lot of troubles with his Epstein issues being exposed, and it was all fixed and rigged from the start. Did he give Acosta his job because he let Epstein off easy then sealed the case off from others? Sure looks like it . Hopefully the House will look into this , and it will be very damaging to him , and he knows this, especially if there's proof he threatened girls, or paid them off, and they can get all records if that happened. They can also bring some of the girls in to testify publicly, and even asking the if their mothers supplied them with birth control pills. They should use his own false claims against him. Not repeat them for him like the media does. They help him spread propaganda , and he knows it.

10. The reality is that 6-8 in 10 women are raped on their way from Central America to the border
Mon Mar 4, 2019, 07:05 AM

So his 1/3 assertion is a gross underestimate of the violence these women are subjected to.

I have found no specific statements that parents give their daughters contraceptives in preparation for the trip, United Nations University has reported that women take contraceptives before beginning the journy expressly to avoid one of the physical consequences of being raped. I can't imagine if women are taking contraceptives themselves, that they are not also giving them to their daughters who are of the age they are more likely than not to be raped during the trek.

He has the look that I saw SO MANY TIMES in the 1980's when it was NOT unusual to see MOUNDED bowls of cocaine in the Ladies' Lounge in "hi-end Nightclubs", from the super flushed complexion, crazy, bugged out, unnaturally shiny eyes & the disgustingly runny nose. Bruh looks like a SERIOUS coke head.

To implement the 25th Amendment would require Pence and a majority of the Cabinet to turn against Trump. He could then appeal to the Congress who would have to uphold the "insurgents."

Although your frustration is shared by nearly all of us, Trump won't be removed by the 25th unless something absolutely extraordinary occurs. Similarly, impeachment is a long-shot solution since the Senate probably wouldn't vote to convict and remove.

The most likely outcome is that Trump will lose at the ballot box in 2020. Sorry, but that just seems the most likely outcome in our difficult and divided times.
