Whitaker lasted 17 days as senior counselor of the associate attorney general -- a position that has been vacant for more than a year since Rachel Brand resigned. In other words he spent 17 days as senior counselor to no one. His job was what it had always been: Trumps eyes and ears at DOJ. I can't prove it, but I think Barr told him to get out.

...for whatever reason, the brakes seemed to come on the minute he hit the door at Justice.

He was never as subdued in his life as he was after he was sworn in. My guess is that he saw the devastating nature of the evidence, against whoever, and backed the hell off, either out of self-preservation or some other misgiving.

Trump eventually sensed his reluctance and went ahead with Barr, who I also suspect will be just as circumspect in handling his end of the probe when he gets a glance at the case Mueller's amassed. Well see.

they realize that they really don't want to end up on that list.

They also realize that Mueller is very skilled at protecting his work. They have no idea how many other investigations they might pop up in if they mess around.

MSNBC or Ari Melber keep bringing on Right Wing nut jobs and some people are getting fed up with the frequency of them being on The Beat - Ari Member's show.I

It would be like The Beat bringing on Kelkyanne Conway or Huckabee a few time a week to pontificate their points of view for Ari's audience. Why, what is the point, no body wants to hear their King Orange's prevaricating lying or Fascist propaganda.

Ari has the likes of Jerome Corsi, then allows him to ramble and ramble on.

CNN let Jack Kingston go as a pundit because he chirps and chirps the trDump line of propaganda and defends trUmp no matter if he is dead wrong. A few days after CNN let Kingston go Ari Melber had Kingston on as a pundit blindly defending trUmp high and low, Ari let Kingston ramble on and on.

A few days later Melber has Matt Schlep on. He is the CREEP who is the director of CPAC who blindly defends trUmp no matter how invalid his defense may be. (Look at the CPAC event that just transpired with the 2 1/2hr trDump speech that Schlep gave to put trDump on solid footing for his 2020 re-election run.)

MSNBC, The Beat viewers, and people that follow Ari Melber do not want to see a regular parade of Right Wing pundit nut jobs pontificating trDump propaganda day in and day out, it legitimizes the bent viewpoints and outrageous propaganda they spew and sputter.

This cluster fuck has more contestants than an episode of the apprentice.

And even I know that having never watched a single episode of the apprentice.

the apprentice: White House edition.

We're all going to be fired by the time this disaster is over. Vesuvius didn't cover Pompeii in as much ash as the entire USA is being covered in total bullshit.
