2. Correct, if Trump issues a veto, and the over-ride vote fails, it is as if the original vote

never took place/passed in the first place. But I would hesitate to characterize that as the emergency declaration going into effect, because the various legal challenges will continue.

And, fwiw, it is virtually certain that a veto over-ride vote will fail.

4. It moves forward. This vote is basically symbolic given his veto power.

There are lawsuits but my understanding is they can build (and already are) while those are pending. And there's not much reasons to have faith in SCOTUS.

5. My own "limited" guess/estimation of the sequence of events:

1. Both the House and Senate will approve the measure (no "Emergency" ).

2. IQ45 will veto the bill.

3. That means the Emergency Declaration is still happening................

4. Lawsuits will be filed based on arguments that the "Declaration" is illegal (saying that there is no real emergency).

5. Some court somewhere will put a hold on the "Declaration" until there can be some hearings.

6. While awaiting those "hearings" some other court will overrule the "hold" and allow the "Declaration" to continue.

7. THIS will finally get all of these issues up to the Supreme Court, who will agree to "consider" the matter while the "Declaration" is still in effect.

7a) There could be a court that will rule against the court in "step 6" and issue another "stay" - meaning that ain't no money going to no f**kin' wall yet.

8. By the time this gets to the U.S. Supreme Court (step 7), Special Prosecutor Mueller's report will have been released and ALL of steps 1 through 7 will have been a waste of time - along with Congressional hearings that will blow the cover off of all of the graft and illegal doings that have been a part of the Executive branch and IQ45 will be gone and we will truly begin to Make America America Again!

CLIFF NOTES: They ain't building no f**kin' wall!

6. But the fact his first ever Veto is a bill a republican senate approved is striking.
