Is Rupert Murdoch's Wall Street Journal a legitimate news and/or polling source?

After the latest NBC/WSJ poll, I'm having my doubts. Dump's approval was 4 points higher points on WSJ/NBCs than 538s. After all of Trump's fake winning lately it doesn't seem likely.

1. Looks like they did this positive poll to keep the orange maggot from becoming more unhinged

His ego is deflated and his handlers know he needs something to pump him up. So they can survive themselves.

It's likely just a statistical blip.

I'll worry about it more if it proves to be the start of a trend. As an isolated event, I'd ignore it.

And Trump corruption/criminality stories.

Here a couple, there have definitely been others:

5. Look at pollster ratings at 538 dot com. They are legit but one poll is just one poll

The margin of error on one poll is plus or minus three, typically. That’s just if there is only sampling variation. But there are many other sources of error. So a single poll is highly iffy. Much more accurate is the average of many polls. Go to 538 dot com, or real clear politics, or other places for averages. But the Wall Street journal polls are run by rock solid pollsters. Peter ahart is one, a leading democrat pollster. But relax. Trump rating has been stable. He got hit hard by the government shut down so now it’s back to normal 42 approve, 53 disapprove.

WSJ can be questionable as a source, particularly anything involving political analysis. The Murdoch influence tends to seep in.

As a poll, the WSJ/NBC poll rates an A- on 538.

Agree news division has broken important stories on Trump corruption and Russia/Trump. Maddow has had some of their reporters on they seem solid

Fox new on the other had is NOT a reliable news source
