tRump shouldn't be impeached because he's doing a really lousy job and destroying the USA
That’s the only rationale I can think of. Reward him being a criminal, etc.
Clinton was doing a great job, but that didn’t stop the Rs from impeaching him over having sex with a consenting adult.
Are we not going to impeach tRump because he has made things SO bad that impeachment would somehow make things worse?

One nuanced angle I heard last night against premature impeachment is that if the House votes to impeach but the Senate does not convict then Dump and his cult will gloat long and loud about being totally vindicated of any and all wrongdoing. It might be enough to convince some people that he's an innocent victim of a "witch hunt" but there would presumably still be the criminal aspects from Mueller, SDNY, NYS, etc.
