Elections have consequences.

For two years, Republicans exercised no oversight of the Executive Branch. During that time, we have seen unprecedented corruption and incompetence from this White House. Republicans still cannot tell us what was discussed between Trump and Putin at the embarrassing Helsinki meeting?

The hyper-ventilating from the media should cease. It was a request for 81 documents - not 81 subpoenas. It's not like it's asking an impossible task, since most of the names requesting documents from, have already submitted those documents in another investigation. Most likely, they kept copies.

The Democrats are taking their job of oversight very seriously. If there is enough evidence gathered, they will impeach. But that is not their primary goal.

Their primary goal is to protect the rule of law. Chairman Nadler has said as much. One cannot say, "There is no collusion, so I can break other laws and not be punished". It doesn't work like that.

I think the Republican whining may be a little premature?
