Trump is a hider.
Trump never gets his own hands dirty. Evidence of something shady pops up and he becomes a walking, talking,disappearing act. He’s too low to do his own dirty work, too timid to claim ownership. Hence, the thug-surround every place he goes, every place he breathes.
He hides behind his order to send a disaster-relief “A-Game” to Alabama while he punitively withholds funds from not-red-enough California. He hides behind a massive, July 4th parade plan using “his generals” to take some of the stink off that pile of deferments he got during the Vietnam Nam War. He hides behind Ivanka and Lindsay Graham and ICE and Sean Hannity. He hides behind delusions of grandeur as some paid rally-goers hold up signs, BLACKS FOR TRUMP.
He’s a “stable genius” who hides a threat made to his school should they think about releasing his grades. He hides in his own imagination as he boasts about being the smartest, the richest, the most productive. He has the best genes, the best hair, the best chocolate cake. Hiding, hiding, hiding.
You don’t see him with his youngest son, or with a dog, or in a soup kitchen because he hides behind glitz and golden, throne-like chairs. He likes pilots who weren’t shot down. Hiding. He lets Mar-a-Lago buddies decide VA policy. Hiding. He appoints his son in law the head of everything. Hiding. He hugs the flag to hide his hatred for every principle it represents. He hides behind “Pocahontas” and “Fat Jerry” and a doctor’s announcement that Trump is the healthiest human on Planet Earth.
I’m curious, though. What will happen when we grab our flashlights and start singing “This little light of mine, I’m going to make it shine”..... Hide no more, Dirty Hands Man.
