Is the Republican Party unAmerican?

Today's Republican Party is backing, 100%, the insane creature in the White House.

They would also like to do away with Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and the parts of Obamacare that they haven't already ruined.

Most Americans think the president is insane. And they also believe that Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are earned benefits, which they are. But the Republicans prefer to call them "entitlements," which they aren't.

The term "entitlements" is an insult and implies that people spent their whole lives sitting on there asses doing nothing, and are collecting a bunch of free money and services to which they are not entitled.

That's bullshit.

The reality is that people work their whole careers having money taken out of their paychecks to pay for these benefits for their retirement, or for when they can no longer work. Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security aren't "entitlements" or "handouts." They are benefits that were earned and paid for by a lifetime of work.

It's difficult for me to not become enraged when I hear Republicans using the word "entitlements," and when they defend their orange fuhrer.

At one time, the Republican Party consisted of decent people with whom we Democrats disagreed on various issues.

Today's Republican Party is a fascist organization protecting the Trump crime family and trying to steal earned benefits from Americans and use them as tax breaks for the haves and the have mores.

It's really necessary that people understand that the Republican Party is the enemy of everything that was ever considered to be basic American rights.

And it's also necessary to understand that the Republicans have become enemies of our very existence. There's a word for them. UnAmerican.

what is the idealistic goals of a "land of the free, home of the brave, for all" sort of thing. Nowadays the Republican Party seems to be more inhuman. Selfish worship of mammon and hatred for "the other". They have been brainwashed by Fox and they have sunk into chaotic evil with Trump. Very sad situation and I am not convinced that we have much of a chance of escaping this nightmare.

that an entitlement is: the fact of having a right to something.
"full entitlement to fees and maintenance should be offered"

That implies that we have a right to essential benefits. And you’re right. We PAY for them. They aren’t handouts.

During my work years, I had to repeatedly explain this to uninformed seniors who refused to see themselves as accepting charity or being on welfare. This was especially true of Medicaid. I’d tell them that they had already PAID for these benefits through their lifetime of work. But years of watching Fox News will do that to people.

Trump has taken over the party and formed it into his image, one of deceit, corruption, and immorality.

So yes, the GOP is Anti and Un-American.
