What happens when Kushner gets a criminal referral to the Justice Dept?

by Congressman Ted Lieu?

I ask because I know Christopher Steele was criminally referred to the Justice Department by Lindsay Graham and last week, Mark Meadows and Gym Jordan referred Michael Cohen to Justice for perjury.

AFAIK, nothing came out of the Steele referral, but what will happen with Kushner and Cohen?

Conjecture and "what ifs" are perhaps occasionally interesting, but they are still conjecture and nothing more.

And that went exactly nowhere. So i would my hold my breath that Barr will do anything.

This also seems to be pretty questionable grounds legally. The President has the ability to grant security clearance to anyone he wants to.

Kushner did have to revise his security questionnaire several times, and some people are trying to say that those are intentional lies on federal forms. Unless the final submitted form has intentional inaccuracies on it, not sure if this referral has any merit.

if I recall - and Holder had to produce the requested documents, though he was not in contempt.

Plus, from what I understand, filling out the form is supposed to be a very serious business.
