This is my newest line of argument with a bunch of right-wingers I chat with.
I am praising 1950s Republicans for their liberal and Progressive policies.
for those of you who haven't looked at the 1950s Republican platform, you really should. It's more liberal than today's Democratic platform.
So I am asking these Trump zombies the question, when did the Republican party turn against liberal and socialist policies?
It's amazing that few of them even know that the 1950s Republican party was that liberal and Progressive. It comes as a complete shock to them.
So they are dumbfounded just from that and they have no clue as to how to answer the question what happened how did the Republican Party switch from being so socialist to what it is now.
They can't even accept the fact that the party was so socialist back then. It's fun to watch them trip all over themselves coming up with excuses and justifications and frankly just delusions as to why the GOP was so socialist back then but it's so anti socialist now
