One thing to note: Manafort will receive a second sentence next week from a different federal judge for the two crimes he pleaded guilty to last year witness tampering and conspiracy related to his illegal Ukrainian lobbying and money laundering.

jury counts, because that re-trial would be held in Ellis's court, AFAIK. Not much point in dealing with this guy again if you don't have to.

The ass that is in VA is a grandstanding, showboat nutcase. Rachel gave info about him and I do not respect him at all. The only reason I am not fuming right now is the fact that he will be seeing a fair judge next week. He will most likely get a just sentence from her.
