Pelosi is exactly right!

At this moment yes, we can impeach him. Then what? He goes to the senate and doesn't even get his wrist slapped. And the tweets go on and on and on. See, I told you it was a witch hunt. Nothing changes! We want him removed. In the senate today... that won't happen.
There are things for the average Americans that need to be done. We can walk and chew gum. The hearings have started. They are public. The American people are hearing of the nasty, crooked, dirty and basically evil things he has done. Let the hearings go on.

Let the cuts in Medicare make the news. Let the cuts to farmers make the news. Every hearing one more nasty detail will come out.

The media chased shiny objects and put him in the white house with putins help. The media complains about the how they are treated. Do something about it. Stop with the 'oh, Pelosi won't impeach him'. That isn't the story. She has her eye on having him removed. The story today is his new budget. The story today is the WH refusing to allow the lawyers that filled out the ethics form go before a committee and answer one little question. Did tRUMP lie to you about the porn payments or did you lie to the American people.

Speaker Pelosi has my full support and my thanks.

If we can't curtail his behavior and destruction to American Institutions, impeachment should go full steam. At this rate, we can drag out impeachment another year plus, and never let it get to the Senate for rolling back the impeachment process.

When public opinion and his own party turn against him. When public opinion (the sane people left in his base) begin to turn, the rats in the Republican leadership will take the walk from the Capitol to the White House. He will refuse to resign or demand conditions to his resignation that will be unacceptable, even to Republicans. He will then be impeached by the House and convicted by the Senate and he will get a military escort out of town. That is how I see this going down.

They could do this over and over for his high crimes...'where by DJTrump violated the oath of office' 'abuse of power' etc. etc. we hereby call for his and his whole corrupt administration to immediately resign. It would serve notice that these are impeachable offenses, put it in the record, while still recognizing the reality of the senate. This would also make mitch and Senate repubs sweat having to defend that POS.

That’s all they want from us, to consume all our time and energy on impeachement which will only energize their base. We need to win 2020 senate; if we lose presidency and trump wins, we can impeach him then. But we need him to continue shrinking GOP base and tuening suburbs solidly blue for generations to come.

By Gabriella Muñoz - The Washington Times - Wednesday, November 7, 2018
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi received an unlikely show of support from President Trump Wednesday in her bid for speaker of the House.
“In all fairness, Nancy Pelosi deserves to be chosen Speaker of the House by the Democrats,” the president tweeted. “If they give her a hard time, perhaps we will add some Republican votes. She has earned this great honor!”

Trump thought she was exactly right.

The timing can be planned. But there's no option. To do otherwise would mean the law has no meaning. You don't fail to pursue the law because there might be a bad political consequence for you, too.

This is not the time. And we don't know if we have the hard evidence. We need Mueller's report and for the House to get further along in investigations.

But if the evidence comes in, we have no choice. This is when the Democrats show that they stand for something and have the interests of the country uppermost in mind.

Impeach does not mean remove. The House can impeach him, and it will go no further. But "impeached" will be on Trump's record forever, showing that he had done something (s) very serious.

Do you think the Republicans let it stop them that Bill Clinton wouldn't be impeached in the Senate? You think they said to each other, "Oh, no. We shouldn't do this, because it won't go any further and will be divisive."

I do not support her position on this issue.

decisions based on the impact on their political careers and/or their party. It is clear that Pelosi is concerned that impeachment might damage Dems because it damaged Republicans when they impeached Clinton. But the crimes like lying us into war (Bush) and obstruction of justice are in a different league than consensual sex and are certainly enough to impeach. If she is concerned about having the opportunity to make public all of Trumps many crimes--like putting our foreign policy up for sale--or until there is clear evidence to implicate Pence, I may be ok with it, for now. But there is plenty to impeach and God knows what damage Trump will do while we are waiting.

Mueller, the election, further high crimes and misdemeanors, potential martyrdom thatvwould actually help him get re-elected, there are many reasons to walk this out very carefully. We have no idea what’s going on backstage. Impeached isn’t removed. It could fuel the fire and the Senate would never do it.
