Rep Schiff: You know what, Mr. President, keep your budget. We'll take it from here.

Trump finally submitted a budget (a month late). Let's take a look, shall we?

$8 billion for a wall Congress rejected.
$840 billion in cuts to Medicare.
Trillion dollar deficits for the next four years.

You know what, Mr. President, keep your budget. We’ll take it from here.

The Goofball In Chief’s budget is more of an ill-conceived wish list than a well thought out budget proposal. But then, he lacks the ability to think anything out in any sort of detail. He’s cut $270 million dollars out of the $300 million dollar Great Lakes Initiative, his third attempt.

Give him hell, Mr. Schiff.

Presidential budgets are never anywhere near the finished product, especially with an opposition House of Reps, but this sounds like another stupid Reaganomics on Steroids RW wish list: Boost the military and destroy the social safety net.

This is gonna get ugly. House will present a decent to good budget bill, the Senate will do their best to destroy it. Trump will veto the final product, and we're back in CR/shutdown mode again.

Handing it down a month late pretty much assures it, imo. I don't think the tardiness is by mistake or having other pressing matters either. It was done with a message in mind.

"Petty Cash" part of the budget, there is $100 MILLION for Ivanka, to boost women's small business worldwide. Mostly in China, I imagine where she has received numerous patents on "her" interests. One of these is an escort service!! Seems to me that about two years ago she received the same amount from the Saudis for the same purpose.
