Trump and Manafort's lawyers claim 'no collusion' on both last weeks sentencing and today's sentencing.
As far as I know the issue of collusion has not come up in either of these cases.
So is Manafort still on the hook for 'collusion' by Mueller? Is it possible that there will be another indictment of Manafort by Mueller for 'collusion' or some funny stuff with Russia?
Given all of Manafort's ties with Russians and Ukrainians - I can't believe that he will skate on the 'collusion' issue.
What could happen yet with respect to Manafort and 'collusion'?

Manafort has not (yet) been prosecuted for crimes related to Russian election interference.

Paul Manaforts judge strongly rebukes Manaforts and Trumps no collusion refrain
Judge Amy Berman Jackson made several strong statements before sentencing former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort on Wednesday. But one, in particular, struck at the core of President Trumps personal defense in the Russia investigation.
She said the no collusion mantra is bunk.
Manaforts legal team had suggested repeatedly in its sentencing memo that the fact that he hadnt been found to have colluded with Russia should be a mitigating factor when it came to how much time he would serve in prison. But Jackson not only rejected that argument in sentencing him to 43 additional months in prison, she also rejected the entire argument behind it.
The no collusion refrain that runs through the entire defense memorandum is unrelated to matters at hand, she said. The no collusion mantra is simply a non sequitur. Then she added: The no collusion mantra is also not accurate, because the investigation is still ongoing.

Trump has been using this tactic for months, misrepresenting statements by key players in the Russia probe and falsely claiming there was no collusion. He thinks he can still claim it's all a hoax even though the investigations are still ongoing:

(6,853 posts)I think mueller desperately wanted Manafort to testify concerning the purpose and intent in providing polling data ... so they could direct trolls to those voters? So the Russians could hack specific machines?! I think mueller has his theories but needs everything locked up. At a minimum, he conspired to have foreigners contribute to the campaign and trump didnt account for it in campaign filings.
