"It Would Be Very Bad, Very Bad ..."

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who is as dumb as he is corrupt.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who was elected as a result of colluding with an adversarial foreign power.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who insults our allies and grovels before our enemies.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who acts like a buffoon on the world stage.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who puts incompetent crooks in positions of power.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who ignores our own experts and relies on whacked-out TV personalities for advice.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” whose ‘best people’ are under investigation, indicted, or have been forced to resign under a cloud of suspicion.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who spends more time tweeting and golfing than he does conducting the nation’s business.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who is stupid enough to believe that wind power isn’t feasible because everyone’s electricity shuts down on windless days, and that stealth bombers are actually invisible.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who uses his office to enrich himself.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who has lied to the American people over 9,000 times in two years.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who is an obvious racist, bigot, and misogynist.

What would be very bad is a “pResident” who encourages violence.

What would be very, very bad is locking traumatized children in cages, stealing from the middle-class to give tax cuts to the wealthy, gutting social programs that feed the hungry and shelter the homeless, passing legislation that cuts off access to affordable healthcare and the ability to vote, cutting funds to education, and ignoring the imminent threat of climate change.

What would be very, very, very bad is a party that not only allows their “pResident” to do all of the above, but spinelessly enables him to do so.

What would be very, very, very, very bad is a “pResident” who literally threatens his political opponents with the police, the military, and a bunch of bikers.

The only good thing to come out of this sham of a “pResidency” is that when The Dotard goes down (as he inevitably will), he’ll be taking a lot of Republicans with him.

And that will be a very, very good thing for all of us.

I told him that every single day I wake up hoping he had a stroke while I slept since I hate him more by the minute. I didn't think I could hate anyone so much but the longer he is in office I find new levels of hatred. I am thoroughly embarrassed to be an American and I am disgusted with my country.

RESIST!

Trump said:

I can tell you I have the support of the police, the support of the military, the support of the Bikers for Trump – I have the tough people, but they don’t play it tough — until they go to a certain point, and then it would be very bad, very bad.

Saying that he can call up armed troops to invade our own country is a far worse threat than Trump suggesting he's gonna sic a bunch of geriatric bike enthusiasts in expensive branded costumes on his perceived enemies.

Trump claims that his supporters in the military and police would rally to his side, against... Who? Democrats, the press corps, marching students? Then what, will Trump order them to use their weapons to either intimidate or eliminate any opposition to Trump's rule?

Don't forget that just like any other sleazy dictator, Trump has spent the past 2 years filling his administration with ex military officers, even protecting traitors like Flynn, and defending rogue cops that kill without reason.

Trump has been gleefully buttering up all these military and police agencies with generous praise and public accolades, posing for photos and encouraging them to break the law and engage in illegal behaviors. Trump has spent lavish amounts of money on the military and police, and gifted them with lots new toys to kill more people.

Now Trump is says that maybe he can order these armed units to do his bidding because they are his faithful and loyal supporters, and they will do lots of bad stuff to target his enemies list. That's not just a bunch of old retired white guys revving up their motorcycle engines and cheering for Trump, that's Trump calling for a full scale military coup against the United States to keep himself in power.

He accuses others of the crimes he knows he’s committed. He calls people liars when he knows he is increasingly entangled in his own lies.

He also projects his own fears – and right now, he is terrified. The people who know where the bodies are buried are cooperating with Mueller and the SDNY. His delusion that everyone in his orbit would go to prison rather than turn on him has been shattered.

When he talks about how the military and the police are on his side, he’s talking to an audience of one – himself. The noose is tightening around his neck, and he’s desperately trying to convince himself that there are forces out there that will save him from his inevitable downfall.

Anyone who actually believes that the military and the police are going to take up arms and fight against their fellow citizens to protect Trump are as delusional as he is.
