I think the trade-off between Santorum being crazy and his bible-appeal makes that an average Romney ticket.

We always knew it would be Romney and some holy-joe or another.

Santorum has some rhetorical baggage but to RW Chrstians he is very likable... more so than most.

Yesh. Average ticket. Not good or bad.

is his lack of 'true conservative ' bona fides. I think the addition of Santorum might go a long way in alleviating those fears...

This would make the fight in November a little harder but we can expect a hard fight since Obama is vulnerable due to the economy. I think the Blue tendency will win in the end but it will be closer than any of us will be comfortable with.

I mean honestly a large percentage of the American people are deeply confused. Those on the right are really grasping and have no idea what to grasp at.

As a so-called "moderate" Mitt is going to need someone teabaggers love to balance his ticket, but Santorum is just too far off the deep end for Mitts' tastes -- and for the average Americans tastes.

I think it's going to be SC governor Nikki Haley(who teabaggers love and who hasn't revealed her craziness yet).

T-baggers. Santorum, also from a major electoral state, lost his senate re-election bid in '06 and probably couldn't carry the state were he on the ticket w/Romney.

Or Santorum/SomebodyElse, explicitly backed by Gingrich to fuck over Romney.

Forge ahead, Mittens. You are one of the only ways for my party to keep its hold on the WH.
