Trump criticizes 'Saturday Night Live' after show airs rerun

BY BRETT SAMUELS - 03/17/19 08:26 AM EDT

President Trump on Sunday knocked "Saturday Night Live" for its repeated jokes at his expense the morning after the sketch comedy show aired a rerun featuring a skit depicting life if he had never become president.

In a pair of tweets, Trump complained that "SNL" and other late-night comedy shows "can spend all of their time knocking the same person (me), over & over, without so much of a mention of 'the other side.' Like an advertisement without consequences."

The president also wondered if the Federal Election Commission or the Federal Communications Commission should look into the matter, suggesting there "must be Collusion with the Democrats and, of course, Russia!

"Such one sided media coverage, most of it Fake News," he added. "Hard to believe I won and am winning. Approval Rating 52%, 93% with Republicans. Sorry!"

It's unclear what poll Trump was referring to. His approval rating with the conservative-leaning Rasmussen Poll hit 52 percent on February 11, but has since dropped to 48 percent.

aired, back in December. The whole "It's a Wonderful Trump" thing was the trigger for him. He's literally saying, "I hated that show so much, that I had to watch it for a second time!"

It is like he is looking for stuff to fuel his anger. He is an outrage junkie and a rather incoherent one at that. His morning rants made very little sense.

I lost my father following a long-term battle with Alzheimer's, so I have some experience on this topic.

Interesting comments, those of you pointing out that this may be an indication of cognitive issues.

and call out this disgrace to our country? I want to hear a righteous rant declaring Trump the shitstain that he is, and also declare that those who support this abomination to be supporters of fascism and tyranny.
