By Associated Press

CANBERRA, Australia — Australia's prime minister has suggested an anti-Muslim senator should be charged after he hit a teen who cracked a raw egg over the legislator's head.

Sen. Fraser Anning has been widely condemned for blaming Muslim immigration for racist attacks on two New Zealand mosques that claimed at least 50 lives.

The 17-year-old boy who egged Anning has become an online hero.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Sunday took the side of the egger, telling reporters: "The full force of the law should be applied to Sen. Anning."

Police allege the 17-year-old, who calls himself "Egg Boy" online, assaulted the senator with the egg.

Why? Because he instigated the affair by assaulting the Senator. The Senator is a racist asshole, but one can't go around assaulting people because one doesn't like what they say.

The teen is a hero and did a wonderful service. The senator is a vile piece of shit who deserves far worse than an egg in the face. Punching a kid? Not cool.

to physically assault him. The Senator's reaction is completely understandable. Consider your reaction if a MAGA hat wearing 17 year old hit your favorite senator with a rotten egg. Would that be ok?

After a bunch of Muslims were shot up?
He was encouraging more violence. That shit needs to be shut down post haste.

Just like punching a Nazi. It’s your civic duty.

The Nazi should be charged for assaulting the teen. He does not have the excuse of self-defense; there was no ongoing threat to him when he assaulted "Egg Boy".

He turned around, observed no threat, and attacked Egg Boy. That's assault and battery.

"Understandable" has nothing to do with it.

It's the same thing that causes road rage confrontations to turn deadly.

.

Three separate assault incidents.

1) The boy-instigated one. Just because he's a minor, there are several youth prisons in NJ for lesser charges. The age thing gives him a little shielding, but not much, as he is probably a high school sophomore or senior, and probably has a driver's permit.

2) The senator instigated one. This jackass should have known better, and let himself lose control.

3) The henchmen, who were third-parties would be cited. They were just acting in groupthink, mob fashion.
