Apparently a lot of people on this planet have become fully taken by this mythology. I can only assume that 2000 years hence we'll see the name God replaced by the name Tolkien, if humans continue to believe in fantastical stories as they have done for the past two millennia.

He took the job after getting blacklisted by the chains for organizing the white collar Guild of Americans Newspapermen to go out on strike in support of the printers in a labor action called against the S.I. Newhouse chain in 1958. After being bounced from job to job for awhile he figured there was no way the chains were going to buy the Monitor. He was chief Of the desk for 25 years.

He died in 2008, but not before voting for Barack. He was proud of that.

U.S. churches are active around the planet, very much overlapping with state department business, and there is such a thing as faith-based media who cover their and other religious activities and events.
