2. He has always been this way. The worst thing (out of many bad things) he did was...

take that full page ad out in the NY Times about the Central Park Five. It was, in the end, all about him.

He would call every city editor any day when he wasn't in the news, and they would dutifully ignore him unless it was an incredibly slow news day. The Times ad was because he couldn't get anyone to print his diatribe as news.

Obama might not have done everything right as president, but he had what was probably the best temperament of any president in living memory-- calm, thoughtful, intellectual, empathetic, and unwilling to hold grudges.

Trump is in every way completely opposite-- he has the worst temperament of anyone, well, ever. I don't know how his fans don't notice that he is exactly what they'd hate in a boss or a neighbor.

Then again, when i think of them as cultists-- cultists worship the weirdest leaders, and no one outside the cult can figure out what makes that dribbling wacko pederast so appealing.
Trump's like that-- his cultists worship him, and no one else can imagine why.

If somebody gets under his skin he rage-tweets insults about that person. Right now it would appear the Dem candidates that scare him the most are Biden and Beto (that could change, of course), and that the person whose reputation he finds most threatening is John McCain, who, although dead, is still revered and respected by a lot of people who wouldn't piss on Trump if he were on fire.
