In a new interview with The Washington Post, George Conway explained why he spends so much time tweeting about his wife Kellyanne Conway’s boss. “It’s so maddening to watch,” Conway said. “The mendacity, the incompetence, it’s just maddening to watch. The tweeting is just the way to get it out of the way, so I can get it off my chest and move on with my life that day. That’s basically it. Frankly, it’s so I don’t end up screaming at her about it.” After Conway questioned the president’s mental fitness over the weekend, President Trump shot back by calling him a “total loser” on Twitter Tuesday. Asked about her husband’s comments this week, Kellyanne Conway told reporters she doesn’t “share those concerns.”

George went along with the Trump Train until his abrupt turnabout because he wanted Kellyanne to succeed in getting a Repub in WH and obtain her high position. But George doesn't want to look bad by association and is trying to redeem his own reputation and future legacy and not go down with the Trump ship of disaster. George knew continuing to stay silent would have tarnished his image as a constitutional expert and respected lawyer as he would have been seen as another spineless Trump sycophant.

But his motives seem very self-serving since he knew Trump was deranged, dishonest, corrupt and unfit throughout the campaign and transition but he stayed silent until Trump was safely ensconced in WH while Kellyanne continues enabling Trump.

It matters not one bit the number of "Well I never!!" Tweets he excretes between now and the end of America's Slough of Despond.
