Data shows the differences between the Democratic Party and the GOP is as wide as ever

The asinine argument "Both major parties are the same because Wall Street" is yet again debunked.

If you are a woman, POC or LGBTQ, you always knew that characterization was crap.

The voting statistics above are based on votes in both the House and the Senate during 2014, 2015 and 2016. Votes are only rated when it is unambiguously clear which vote favors which side of the issue. Read the methodology for more information.

I keep hearing the right wingnuts pound the term "radical left wing liberal socialists" and yet I do not see any Soviet-style hammer-and-cycle adorned people on touch lit marches through metropolitan areas. My friends on the right are constantly harping about the evils of socialism and seem to work it into unrelated conversations.

Why do I not hear about radical right wing conservative fascists? I see swastika adorned torch lit marchers and local kids doing the Hitler salute all the time. The United States shows many signs of the government already being controlled by corporate interests. Why is it that our side isn't pounding the evils of fascism into the course of national discussion?

Because the average American cares about their next paycheck (which in many cases, hasn't grown in over a decade) so they can pay a mortgage or rent and utilities and hope they have enough to cover a health insurance deductible, as well as put food on the table. They don't care about political ideologies.

I think many in Congress should ALSO go back and take a civics class again!!!! They seem to forget what their roles are supposed to be!
