Because he cannot completely control fox news they are the last hurdle for getting his base to completely ignore any news that he cannot completely control.

in a big way. I think they will come around and make it possible for Democrats to accept their debate invitation. Not kissing the Buffoon's behind every waking breath might be part of the answer to this.
