Report contents. Or at least the major components?
Like Sessions and Whitaker or some repuke who got briefed probably told them?
If yes, then it might explain why GOP sychophants sticking by him?

(14,618 posts)They can guess, but only muehler knows for sure. He isn't required to tell barr or whittaker what he has found. He only needs to get approval for specific acts like issuing subpoenas or seeking indictments.
Now that doesn't mean he hasn't been keeping them posted. But I strongly doubt he has given them drafts of his report.
So the white house may well know there is a lot of bad news, they probably haven't seen the text or structure. yet.
And a lot of what muehler has found is already tied up in redactions in court documents under seal. Those will eventually be unsealed and there is nothing barr can do to stop that.

(4,483 posts)unless we haven't been paying attention. Trump has confessed to--hell, bragged about--so many things Mueller is investigating that it's clear that his base doesn't care and the Republicans in congress don't either.

(52,116 posts)they are insisting that their wishes are reality and are eager to see those wishes on the news in the hopes that it pressures mueller into finishing prematurely, or that it makes people complain when mueller doesn't wrap it up quickly.

(9,670 posts)Even if Mueller only captured half of their treason, they still know first-hand what's in that report...it's called memories.
there is that little pesky fact. They would have to know what they did and when they did it. Mueller may not get every fact during the investigation, but they most certainly know as they were there.

(14,522 posts)They know what happened and who was involved. When they hear or read about witnesses being interviewed by Mueller they know what is potentially being revealed.

(7,715 posts)At least according to Woodward & Bernstein's The Final Days, Nixon and his lawyers only found about this more than 2 months later.
They were stunned, and they were furious, the key point being that they didn't know.
